Delaware North Gaming is searching for a part-time Security Shift Supervisor to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members, complying with confidentiality regulations regarding security information. If your talents would lend to skilfully carrying supervision and management of Security Department operations in the absence of the Assistant Director and Director, this could be the next play for you. Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers on an assigned shift and document disciplinary actions

• Conducts cash escorts and maintain crowd control as required

• Operate motorized vehicle when necessary

• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity

• Maintain a secure presence on the gaming floor and ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance

• Defuse guest profanity to ensure a friendly environment, and investigate incidents and compose written reports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test

• Must possess a New York state Security Guard license.

• Ability to work across departmental lines with guests and vendors

• Previous security supervisory or law enforcement experience preferred

• Gaming background a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as capacity to bend, lift, and carry
