The City of Farmington is currently accepting applications for a Parks Maintenance Worker. Typical duties include a variety of semi-skilled work in the construction, modification, maintenance, and repair of City infrastructure, including parks, park facilities and buildings, sports fields, recreation trails, landscapes, playgrounds and equipment, mowing and weed abatement; provides assistance with set-up and removal of equipment and facilities at special events; uses and operates a variety of manual and power tools and light to heavy power driven equipment; and performs related work as required.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with an excellent benefit package. Pay will increase to $16.50 per hour upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period. Applicant must have a valid Missouri Class E Drivers License. A Missouri Class A Commercial Drivers License is required within 12 months of employment (paid for by the City). Some overtime, weekend and evening work may be required.
