Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Controls

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager, Digital Technology (DT) Controls will support Otis by partnering with business process owners, DT Leadership, Otis Finance, and third-party auditors to ensure DT controls are designed and implemented to meet regulatory, compliance and business needs. This position works with the Chief Information Officer and Finance Compliance Team on digital control testing including our annual Sarbanes Oxley 404 efforts. Additionally, this position consults with third party consultants to review, document, and justify findings.

This position requires a strong background in Information Technology (IT) Control Frameworks, Control testing practices, Issues management, and solid communication and organization skills. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Industry Leading IT policies and control frameworks, a broad understanding of IT technology including applications, infrastructure, cloud, databases, and networks.

On a typical day you will:

  • Develop processes for evaluating IT controls leveraging Industry Best Practices and leading practices.

  • Partner and build strong working relationship with business process owners, Otis Finance and third-party auditors with an approach meeting regulatory, compliance and business needs.

  • Develop metrics, reporting and dashboards to ensure processes efficiency and that risks are being appropriately tracked and communicated for all entities responsible for controls testing.

  • Continually identify opportunities to automate control testing and streamline manual efforts to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.

  • Ensure the continual alignment of digital and corporate controls with policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Serve as a Cyber Leader by helping business partners understand the cyber risks, impact and likelihood, present to their function and guide them with implementing appropriate mitigation controls or remediation plans.

  • Partner with DT functional leadership to establish roles and responsibilities for controls, document the required controls, and design control testing program for Google Cloud, Azure, Alibaba and all approved Otis cloud environments.

  • Provide Cyber education and training to cloud teams to mature their level of security awareness and understanding.

  • Provide controls education and guidance, to team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Provide training and guidance to Otis DT, Application and Business teams for control design and efficiency testing.

  • Provide in depth education, training, and guidance to team members across Otis in all areas of control design, operation, and remediation.

  • Serve as Cyber control lead for new project initiatives, providing compliance requirements, document controls, and identify issues. Work with impacted teams for timely remediation.

  • Perform reviews of SOC reports for SaaS-based High Impact Assessments, documenting control gaps and working with appropriate teams to implement control improvements.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems or related field with a minimum of 6 to 10+ years’ experience.

  • One or more certifications required: CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CASP, CIAM

  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience evaluating IT controls

  • Previous experience working with a large portfolio financial applications in a global organization

  • Previous experience performing IT audits, risk assessments or other similar Cyber functions.

  • Previous experience with centralized audit technology a plus.

  • Have prior control experience in multiple IT industry regulations and frameworks such as: SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley Act ISO - International Organization for Standardization GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation PCI - Payment Card Industry NIST - National Institute of Standards and Technology CIS - Center for Internet Security.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in project management, preference for a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
