Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tablet compression machines (e.g., Fette, Kilian, or other related equipment) to meet production specifications.

• Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments.

• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment settings, maintenance activities, and repairs.

• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure product specifications and compliance with GMP standards.

• Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated, and properly maintained to meet quality and safety standards.

• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety audits as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Compression Set-Up Mechanic in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Proficient with pharmaceutical compression equipment (e.g., Fette, Kilian, or similar).

• strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

• Working knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical setting.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.

• Attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
