Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Controls Technician to join their team. As a Controls Technician, you will be part of the operations department supporting production efficiency and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Promote efficient operation of existing electrical and control systems.

• Support daily production operations through troubleshooting and continuous improvement of operational software and control systems.

• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and engineering teams to develop and implement improvement projects.

• Analyze and resolve electrical problems, including troubleshooting analog/digital electronic control systems and PLC programming.

• Document and implement work order procedures for new equipment and technology.

What's Needed?

• GED or high school diploma; college coursework in electronics or controls preferred.

• One to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Hands-on experience with PLC controls and logic circuits is required.

• Ability to work safely and adhere to safety protocols.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
