Job Title: Shop Technician

Job Description

This role ensures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed. Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and materials in the warehouse. Provides relevant product information to customers and quotes for sales.

Hard Skills

• Providing quotes to customers for sales

• Answering telephone and handling customer calls regarding sales of products

• Assisting with processing of ingoing and outgoing requests for sales order returns

• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move products safely and efficiently

• Tracking inventory levels and conducting regular stock counts

• Preparing shipments by packaging and labeling items according to specifications

• Unpacking and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against orders

• Accurately entering shipping and receiving information into inventory management systems

• Supporting local deliveries and communicating with the department and customers to confirm delivery details, address, and changes that arise

• Following all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries

• Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
