First United Bank Personal Banker in Fargo, North Dakota

JOB SUMMARY: Serves as the primary point of contact for customers and employees at the branch by assisting them with their needs and inquiries. Handles various transactions while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies. Promotes and sells banking products to help the customers meet their financial goals.

DUTIES:

  • Oversee the CSR operations at the Fargo location.
  • Identify, develop and manage personal and business Deposit relationships.
  • Solicit, originate, underwrite and close consumer loans. Manage the Fargo location consumer loan portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance their overall banking experience.
  • Assists team members as well as customers with complex problems or questions regarding their accounts.
  • Engage in proactive sales calls to develop new deposit or banking relationships.
  • Educate and cross-sell bank products and services to our customers.
  • Open and close all types of deposit accounts including IRAs.
  • Hire and train new CSRs for the Fargo location.
  • Provide ongoing training for the CSRs at the location.
  • Fluent understanding of the CDARs program as an avenue to expand our product offerings to customers.
  • Coordinate with the Trust Department for the handling of the precious metals vault.
  • Oversee the Safe Deposit Box area.
  • Process daily overdrafts for the region.
  • Ability to process teller transactions as a back-up if needed.
  • Participate in community events to create awareness of First United Bank.
  • Additional duties may be assigned which are deemed to be within the employees capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in a business or business related field.
  • At least 5 years of retail banking experience.
