Job Description:

Schedule: First Shift

*Monday – Friday

*8-10 hour shifts

*Rotating weekends on-call

Pay range starting at $35/hr + based on experience & certifications

Position Summary:

Ammonia/HVAC

This role is responsible for completing maintenance projects and specialized maintenance needs within assigned area. Ensure compliance with Company safety policies as well as legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations. May be responsible to oversee the day-to-day activities and workload of associates within the department.

Here’s what you’ll do:

· Responsible for completing maintenance projects and specialized maintenance needs within assigned area (i.e., Ammonia, HVAC, inspections) in a timely and accurate manner.

· Ensure compliance with Company safety policies as well as legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

· Monitor maintenance spend.

· Provide expert technical knowledge within applicable role.

· Dismantle, install, and repair parts, electrical apparatus, mechanical and/or refrigeration systems and/or components equipment and machinery within assigned area.

· Assemble and test equipment/systems to ensure correction of necessary repairs and maintenance.

· Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

· Assist with and/or oversee the maintenance of basic preventative, routine and corrective maintenance responsibilities.

· Maintain current knowledge of regulations and laws within assigned area (i.e., OSHA, EPA, etc.) to ensure compliance.

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

· High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)

· RETA certification preferred.

· Experience with food equipment strongly preferred.

· Good communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects.

· Basic math, writing and computer skills related to mechanic aptitude/maintenance.

· Must have maintenance experience to include Ammonia skills and a basic understanding of environmental issues.

· Must be able to organize and prioritize work assignments and meet established deadlines.

· Must perform assigned tasks accurately and completely.

· Must be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
