Axiom Resource Management, Inc. Change Management and Training Specialist in Falls Church, Virginia

We are seeking a Change Management Specialist with experience in training to support a complex and dynamic United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) development and implementation project, geared to modernize technology for a critical program within the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services (WS) Division. Our team includes expertise across five functional work streams (Program Management, Design and Development, Training, Analytics, and Operations and Maintenance) in order to provide a customized application solution for the WS field programs.

Successful Candidate will:

Collaborate with the APHIS WS team and leadership stakeholders to develop, implement, and update the Change Management (CM) plan and create a strategy to support adoption of CM framework within the project roadmap Apply CM methodology in order to assist team in documenting management processes and procedures Develop change management plans for each workstream that acknowledges the different aspects of the change process - analysis, plan, implementation, communicate and other associated change considerations Develop the training plan and lead the training implementation to aid in a successful application deployment and adaptation Analyze, research, propose changes to, develop, and monitor the milestones to support accuracy and consistency within project roadmap Assess the impact of change requests and document the impact to business processes and systems Prepare impact analyses and evaluation of the impact of changes, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders to facilitate implementation of change requests Partner with workstream leads and developers to discuss and define requirements and acceptance criteria and integrate change management activities into project plans Participates in all phases of risk management assessments Capture relevant data and define metrics for success Create User Guides as necessary

Requirements Include:

BA and 7+ years of relevant experience Experience and knowledge of CM principles (Prosci preferred), methodologies, and tools Understanding of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle Experience working in Agile environment Solid problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be a highly adaptable self-starter, and have a great attention to detail
