BAE Systems Career Mobility Operations Specialist in Falls Church, Virginia

As such we are standing up a new Career Mobility team and have an exciting opening for someone to lead the operations for this group in support of our employees career mobility. Reporting to the Manager, Career Mobility within the Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise, the Career Mobility Operations Specialist is in the pivotal role of helping ensure sure all initiatives of the mobility team and virtual career center are well planned and operating smoothly. Creating an exceptional employee experience for all participants in the workshops, coaching and users of the career center tools is a top objective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to users of the virtual career center, to include career profile questions and job search support

  • Help employees navigate internal application process and all self-service tools and resources

  • Support the development of career center content and employee resources, including videos

  • Provide logistical support for career center sponsored events, including internal hiring events, workshops, coaching circles and other activities

  • Coordinate with sectors to support larger groups of at-risk employees

  • Partner with the TA technology to troubleshoot Career Connect issues

  • Manage and/or develop the content on the career center to include update files, links and resources to ensure content remains fresh and accurate

  • Manage career related knowledgebase articles and all links to relevant systems

  • Help design and build a repository for manager resources related to internal hiring and career mobility

  • Develop and report on usage and success metrics for the career center

Work location for this position is flexible. Remote/hybrid work or on-site at a BAE Systems office will all be considered.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 - 6 years work experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree)

  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Customer service-oriented skills; ability to address concerns with understanding, patience and empathy

  • Technical aptitude with an emphasis on user experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include written communication

  • Ability to dissect unique problems and determine a path to resolution

  • Effective project management skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience in human resources or talent acquisition

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
