Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Department, Public Works Department Fallon of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates to meet program goals, objectives and broad command priorities, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. You will assign work based on priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirement of the assignment, and capabilities of the employee. You will develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinates. You will develop systems for evaluating and monitoring contractor performance for compliance with terms and conditions of the contract. You will conduct periodic meetings with team members for the purposes of setting policies/procedures for consistent execution of contract actions. You will perform pre-award functions for procurements involving complex contracts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates to meet program goals, objectives and broad command priorities, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work; 2. Administering long-term, complex contracts of highly specialized, extensive, new or innovative techniques for facilities construction, design, and services affecting major agency programs and having a significant impact on contractor's operations and on command area of responsibility; and 3.
