What you'll do:

The Licensed Dental Assistant works to enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. The Licensed Dental Assistant:

  • Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments and supplies

  • Collects and records patient health histories, take impressions and x-rays

  • Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures

  • Prepares dental materials (cements, amalgam, composite, impression materials, etc.)

  • Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed

  • Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies

  • Cleans/polishes removable devices; fabricate temporary restorations, custom trays, study models

  • Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient

  • Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff

What we seek:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Licensed Dental Assistant in Minnesota

  • Previous dental experience preferred

  • Leadership and multitasking abilities

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Superior attention to detail

Patient Care Hours:

Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
