Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Engineer in the manufacturing industry in Fairfield, New Jersey. This role will involve designing and developing new integration architecture patterns, working with cross-functional teams, and enhancing current system integrations. The role will also require strong technical skills in Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, vent Grid and Azure Logic Apps.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new integration architecture patterns such as synchronous and asynchronous communication, APIs, and event/message-based integration using modern integration technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements for integration, designing, and developing the integrations.

• Develop and implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.

• Optimize the data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes.

• Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems to meet business solutions.

• Troubleshoot reported issues with existing API / Feeds integrations.

• Document technical requirements in the interface context.

• Check and correct conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.

• Identify, debug, and advise on system errors or architecture issues.

• Understand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud-based platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure

• Demonstrable experience with MS SQL Server

• Familiarity with Azure API Management and Azure Logic Apps

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers

• Deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols

• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection

• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources

• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization

• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Dependable and flexible when necessary

• Network security experience

• LAN and WAN experience.
