Our client, a world-leading medical device company focused on improving lives through innovative, consumer-centered solutions, is seeking a Maintenance/Industrial Mechanic to join their team.

Type : Contract

Pay : Up to $35/hr

Work location : Fairfield County, CT

Duties:

• Perform regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify faults and potential problems.

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, determining the best solutions for repairs.

• Replace or repair defective electronic components, including sensors, switches, circuit boards, and wiring, using hand tools, soldering tools, and diagnostic software.

• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to establish and implement maintenance procedures and standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working with electronic equipment and machinery.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of electronics principles, including circuitry, digital and analog systems, and troubleshooting techniques

• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the use of basic hand tools

• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets

• Minimum of three years of machine/electronics maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
