Job Title: Driver Sales Representative
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Driver Sales Representative. This role involves significant face-to-face interaction with customers. The ideal candidate must possess a Class B license with air brake and tanker endorsements, though a Class A license is preferred. A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a valid driver's license are required.
Responsibilities
Transport rental trucks between customers.
Deliver new trucks to clients.
Drive demo equipment and assist sales representatives in product demonstrations.
Engage directly with customers to showcase our products and services.
Demonstrate and drive various vehicles such as sewer and storm cleaning vehicles, hydro vacuum excavators, street sweepers, bucket trucks, and 3/4 ton trucks with trailers.
Assist sales representatives on existing and potential client sites, demonstrating different industrial vehicles.
Travel out of state for product demonstrations as required.
Essential Skills
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must be able to travel.
Customer service experience is required.
Must be able to drive sewer and storm cleaning vehicles, hydro vacuum excavators, street sweepers, bucket trucks, and 3/4 ton trucks with trailers.
Class B license with air brake and tanker endorsements (Class A preferred).
Product knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation.
Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer functions including email and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction.
Willing to assist and contribute to customer interaction.
Able to perform prep work during downtime.
Comfortable with cold calling potential customers.
Knowledge of local freeway systems, traffic, and navigation tools.
Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to multi-task while managing time efficiently.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.

Work Environment
When not on the road, you will handle prep work, make cold calls, move trucks around the shop, and conduct test drives for service. Limited air travel is required, and you will be on the road 90% of the time. You will receive a phone and computer for communication. The role typically involves working at least 45 hours a week, with occasional Saturdays and potential long hours due to traffic. Trainees will be provided with attire similar to the sales staff, including polo shirts and the option to wear khakis or jeans.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
