Job Description

A large aerospace client of Insight Global is looking for a Top Secret cleared Electrical Engineer to join their team 5 days onsite in Fairfax, VA. This person will be responsible for working on the FPGA implementation with VHDL. They will be working with the design and integration of the RF and DSP algorithms, while also interpreting the algorithm design and algorithm modeling. They will be working with both software and firmware engineer teams, and daily responsibilities will include the algorithm analysis and implementation. This person will also be working in a very collaborative environment so they must have strong written communication skills. This is a direct placement opportunity paying $85-$116k annually.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ experience with FPGA implementation with VHDL

• Experience in RF, DSP, or optical communication

• Experience with MATLAB or VHDL

• Deveopment experience with C/C+- Active clearance or ability to obtain TS null
