MAG AH 64E Standardization Instructor Pilot (Morocco) in FAIRFAX, Virginia

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) program and contingently hiring for an AH 64E Standardization Instructor Pilot – (this is a flying position) - (this is a flying position) who will reinforce the Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) defense / threat capabilities concerning their usage of AH-64Ev6 Apache Attack Helicopters.

Most operations will take place at RMAF Attack Battalion in Khourigba, Morocco.

This is a full-time position with full benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Conducts readiness level progression including gunnery training strategies.

  • Trains RMAF Pilots on Aviation Mission Planning (AMPS) usage.

  • Trains RMAF Pilots on Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) usage.

  • Conduct oral evaluations of all RMAF pilots in accordance with RMAF training and proficiency requirements

  • Train and advise RMAF Instructor Pilots while providing feedback on future IP candidates.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Served in US Military

  • 2500 totalrotary flight hours.

  • 1500 cumulative AH-64D/E

  • 1000 hours cumulative as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot.

  • Must have SIP at company/battalion level or higher experience.

Certifications / Ratings:

  • Must be previously qualified as a US Army AH-64E Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP)

  • Must be rated in the AH-64E.

  • Must be current and able to maintain currency in Helicopter Underwater Egress Training/Helicopter Emergency Egress Devise (HUET/HEED) training/certification

  • Obtain and maintain a FAA Class II medical

Security Clearance:

  • Able to obtain a secret clearance in the future if needed

Other Qualifications:

  • US. Citizen

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.

  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Moroccan Visa.

  • Must provide proof of the following:

  • Military Service, (DD Form 214).

  • Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks).

  • Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate, (AH-64 E).

  • Standardization Instructor Pilot Course Certificate, (AH-64 E).

  • (Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications.

  • Desired (not required) Experience as an Aviation Tactical Operations Officer, Safety Officer, an Instrument Examiner Qualification.

  • Desired (not required) Qualification in AH-64Ev6

  • Desired (not required) Previous Security Assistance Team experience

  • Desired (not required) Previous experience as an aviation Master Gunner
