Maritime Helicopters MHI Facility Manager in Fairbanks, Alaska
**MHI Facility Manager - Fairbanks, Alaska [[Maritime Helicopter's Facility Manager is responsible for managing building maintenance, fuel systems, vehicles, trailers, etc. across multiple facilities. The Facility Manager oversees the fuel systems for aircraft refueling from Valdez to Homer to Deadhorse to include tracking and reordering fuel as needed and supporting the outlying bases. Airport Fueling Safety training will be provided.
[[The Facility Manager will work directly with the Operations Department and Maintenance Department. In addition, the Facility Manager is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as directed. This position will perform preventative maintenance to include diagnosing problems and repairs in the areas of boilers, forced air heaters, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, appliances etc., inspecting buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and working with outside contractors as needed. The Facility Manager will provide excellent customer service to employees and clients of the company.
[Requirements for this position include a minimum of one year of maintenance or similar experience, a current driver's license. A CDL is preferred but not required. Hazmat and trailer endorsement will be added. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, good verbal and written communication skills, a polite and professional approach and excellent customer service skills. Position requires some weekends, evenings, some overnight, and holidays.
