Our client is currently hiring an Accounting Manager to join their team in Exton. Are you a CPA with a passion for precision in financial reporting? We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to spearhead a pivotal area of our clients accounting operations. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring flawless financial oversight and timely reporting. If you have at least 5 years of management experience and are well versed in SAP then this is the role for you!

salary: $79.37 - $84.37 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager, Job duties include:

• Oversee a team responsible for general accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP principles and internal policies.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

• Monitor and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.

• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Lead and mentor staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring efficient work allocation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support financial reporting and analysis.

Skills:

• 5+ years working as an Accounting Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry with a BA in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
