Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in Exeter, Rhode Island, 02822, United States. This role involves a range of responsibilities related to customer transactions, payment processing, and record-keeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately applying payments and denials into the billing system through both manual and electronic methods

• Managing and processing transactions for various subsidiaries

• Overseeing and, if necessary, correcting credits applied into the billing system

• Downloading, posting, and reconciling all remittance files

• Processing and reconciling all credit/debit card transactions

• Posting complex adjustments and creating journal entries as per remittances

• Conducting daily reconciliation of totals posted

• Promptly addressing payment issues and overpayments

• Ensuring productivity standards set by management are met

• Collaborating with other team members, particularly the Billing and Collections teams

• Utilizing Netsuite as the main system for tasks

• Utilizing Salesforce, Excel, Word, and Outlook for various tasks

• Demonstrating a strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is crucial for managing financial transactions.

• Familiarity with CyberSource is required for secure online payment processing.

• Competence in Data Processing is essential for organizing and analyzing financial data.

• Experience with Epic Software and Epic System is necessary for managing healthcare billing and payments.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is needed to ensure accurate financial operations.

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is vital for managing incoming payments.

• Expertise in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is important for efficient electronic fund transfers.

• Ability to perform Billing Functions is needed for accurate invoicing and payment tracking.

• Capacity to monitor Cash Activity is required for maintaining accurate financial records.
