We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Benefits and Payroll Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role involves reviewing and investigating payroll processes for both domestic (US) and foreign employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong investigative mindset, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

+ + Benefits Coordination: Assist in the administration of employee benefits, ensuring that all benefits-related information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Payroll Review: Investigate and review payroll data for accuracy, focusing on both domestic (US) and Canadian payroll. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze payroll and benefits data using Excel to spot trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Documentation: Ensure all payroll and benefits documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulations.

  • Issue Resolution: Actively investigate and resolve payroll-related issues or discrepancies. Communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders to provide solutions.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll and benefits processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.

  • Reporting: Prepare and review payroll and benefits reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience: Some experience in payroll or benefits administration is preferred but not required. An investigative mindset and strong analytical skills are essential.

  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to notice and address discrepancies in payroll and benefits data.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and employees.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
