Licensed Associate Counselor
Up to $30/hr
Per Diem, Mercer County, NJ
Who We Are:
The Arc Mercer's health services (for people with special needs in Greater Mercer County) are provided by experienced physicians, includes psychiatrists, a registered nursing staff and licensed counselors.
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a Per Diem LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in our healthcare center located in Ewing, NJ.
What We Need:
Provide direct clinical services to clients through one on one and group sessions.
Complete initial assessments with patient and support system and complete related paperwork to be reviewed by the Practice Administrator.
Make assessments on client presenting problems and disorders and provide diagnosis.
Collaborate with a team of providers to evaluate all contributing psychiatric factors toward the condition of clients.
When needed, travel to other facilities to attend training or provide services.
Ensure accurate documentation of sessions.
What You Need:
Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Special Education or related field.
Possession and Maintenance of a Associate Counselor License
Good Interpersonal, organization and writing skills and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
The ability to build rapport with patients through education of Arc Mercer Processes and need for treatment.
Serve as a role model to staff, patients, employees, and guests with a positive, caring and professional attitude.
