Clinical Behavior Specialist

Who We Need:
We are looking for a Full Time Behavior Support Specialist to join our Team in Mercer County. Supervision for RBTs or those obtaining BCBA certification can be provided.
What We Need:
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - REQUIRED
Work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Identifies needs for training and will develop this training to ensure knowledge and ability to implement behavior effectively plans
Document behavioral interventions and outcomes through the use of individual progress notes.
Assist with gathering information and data for assessments.
Develop and provide staff training on behavioral interventions and strategies.
Establish ongoing communication with psychiatric and mental health providers.
Serve as an analyst to the Interdisciplinary Team
Monitor implementation of Behavioral Support Plans.
Maintain a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the varied needs of the program.
Manage responsibilities associated with being part of an on-call rotation.
Maintained behavioral documentation in electronic health records and other tracking systems.
Maintained behavioral documentation in the electronic health records logs for all consumers.
Attend departmental meetings and serves as a clinical supervisor.
Coordinate with the medical department on behavioral issues.
Attend meetings for behavioral-related issues.
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or related field.
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is preferred.
Enrolled in ABA Masters Program preferred
Minimum of six months experience working in Human Services and Developmental Disabilities.
Experience with adult DDD population and DDD regulations
Experience in implementing behavior modification techniques.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Experience in the development of behavior modification strategies preferred
Good interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.
Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions necessary.
Under NJ Executive Order #283, must be vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility) and provide proof of vaccination.
