The Warehouse New Associate is responsible for the daily activities of their assigned area to ensure the efficient operation of the department s workflow.

Job Requirements

  • Repetitive reaching, bending, squatting, and twisting to support the lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of materials weighing up to 70 pounds

  • The ability to handle materials from the range of floor level to above shoulder level

  • The ability to push or pull cages, pallets, or carts of materials throughout the warehouse environment

  • Available to work weekends and or night shifts as needed

  • This position requires working 2nd 3rd shift for up to 6 months per year

Key responsibilities

  • Work with staff on Pre-processing, Tabbing and Batching operations

  • Support the UPS Over goods recovery effort by working with Traffic and creating alerts within Serial Number Tracking System

  • Prepare documents for Scanning

  • Assist in training staff for Scanning and Cutting departmentsCross train in all areas of the Distribution Center

  • Perform indirect tasks as requested

  • Ability to retrieve and edit computer files in Longford and SeNT (Serial Number Tracking systems)

  • Help training staff for the manual check in and book search

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year of experience in a warehouse environment

  • Minimum 1-year Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience to include material handling and PIT (Powered industrial Truck) experience

  • Microsoft Office experience to include: Excel, Outlook, Word, and Sharepoint

  • Ability to read and understand job aids and layouts

  • Oracle or similar ERP software knowledge

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
