Description:

As a Material Strider on the Fluke Service Tools Team you’ll ship, receive, package, count and route material, complete associated paperwork and/or operate machinery such as pallet jack, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments.

• Responsible for assigned picking inventorying, and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments.

• Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.

• Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use pallet jack and other material moving tools and moving machinery.

• Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination.

• Kanban bin fill and execution

• Sustain material presentations in the cells utilizing FBS tools including Fortive Material System (FMS) and 5S.

• Performs inventories; physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials.

• Reconcile bad counts with assistance from Senior Material Handler.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of material and Kanban execution experience

• Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment.

• Accurately follow standard work

• Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hrs per day

• Able to lift material no heavier than 40 lbs on occasion

• Work as a team member and foster a cooperative team environment

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 29,700.00 - 55,100.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
