Fortive Corporation Manufacturing Engineer in Everett, Washington

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you a self-starter who finds ways to improve existing processes? Keep reading as we are looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our Fluke Electronics team here in Everett, WA.

As a Manufacturing Engineer with Fluke Electronics, you will be tasked with analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for production/assembly of new and existing products. You will assist new product introduction to manufacturing, support released product, and assist with the retirement of legacy products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations, including: 5S/Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. Primary Responsibilities:

· Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with the integrity of product design to assure quality and cost-effective production

· Advise engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of designs

· Coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacities are developed to support new products

· Ensure efficient manufacturing through achieving quality, cost, operating specifications, customer and company standards, and requirements

· Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and achieve cost reduction

· Plan, define, and implement new manufacturing systems as needed for new product introductions

· Responsible for managing and implementing projects of varying complexity and scope

· Ensure integrity of existing manufacturing documents and take ownership of creating new manufacturing documentation

· Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred

· 2+ years of related experience

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, SW, PSP, SMED, VRK, OEE, TPM, etc.) a plus

· Proven problem solving aptitude using various tools and techniques

· Leadership experience within a team, project, or job

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results

· Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors

· SolidWorks and/or Pro Engineer (ProE) experience a plus

· Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required

· Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment

· Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $70,495- $130,985

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
