The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Executive Retail Specialist to join our team in Everett, WA .

The Boeing Brand Experiences (BBE) team leads experiential marketing and communications efforts as part of The Boeing Communications function. As a strategic business operation, BBE operates within a Profit and Lost (P&L) model while prioritizing brand engagement and activation. The primary mission for BBE is to amplify Boeing’s global brand amongst the flying public, local communities, customers and employees. We deliver high-quality, Boeing branded experiences and merchandise through our various channels around the world, in-person and digitally. These channels include; Boeing Future of Flight (BFoF), Physical and E-Commerce Retail, Internal Custom Merchandise, The Boeing Recognition Program, Wholesale and Consumer Products and Image Licensing. We are brand ambassadors and influencers that have a passion for building and delivering a premium customer experience.

The Boeing Stores retail team supports internal and external sales of Boeing-branded merchandise and other aviation-related products in physical retail locations nationwide. Our team seeks an energized, passionate, creative, and customer-obsessed retail store manager to increase sales in our public-facing Everett store. As an Executive Retail Sales Specialist, we create an in-person connection with customers and stakeholders through Pop-up Shops and Events throughout the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily store operations, executing visual merchandising displays and marketing elements, and meeting or exceeding sales goals, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes freight and complete markdowns

  • Understands and adheres to visual standards to maximize merchandise presentations and ensures all marketing initiatives are completed

  • Maintains and supports safety standards in sales locations; communicates safety concerns to store manager

  • Supports store and company level strategies to reduce shrink; observes and monitors for signs of shrink and advise management of any unusual internal or external activity

  • Completes all daily cash control requirements, including bank deposits, fund verifications, and cash reconciliations; meets all submittal deadlines for financial reporting

  • Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures

  • Partners with Brand Activation Lead to build and execute strategic action plans to meet or exceed goals

  • Analyzes and reviews sales and inventory reports daily to react quickly to business demands

  • Provides Brand Activations Lead with productivity updates; identifies and communicates feedback on associate performance

  • Understands and adheres to visual standards to maximize merchandise presentations and ensures all marketing initiatives are completed on time

  • Manages all controllable costs to improve store profitability

  • Maintains and supports safety standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom; communicates safety concerns to the travel store lead

  • Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures

The position requires extensive travel within the United States and the capability to work independently. The selected candidate will connect with and maintain relationships with customers and focus on engagement, offering superior customer service. The successful candidate will maintain high-level communications with business partners and stakeholders. As well as prioritize and execute against deadlines and adapt to a changing work environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High school diploma or higher

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail sales or operations leadership role

  • Experience in Point-of-Sale platforms

  • Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds

  • Capability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks

  • Capability to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights, as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of retail store management experience

  • Counterpoint POS experience

  • Previous military or commercial experience in quality and/or operations leadership position

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $39,100 - $52,900
