Job Location: Everett - WA USA Or Remote Responsibilities: Responsible for design, development, and architecture of Cloud solutions. Responsible for design and build Azure foundation setup. Deliver standard methodologies around provisioning, operations and management of cloud environment. Ensures that the cloud design is adhering to required standards, high availability & DR requirements and industry based compliance needs. Implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for Azure handled service environments. Design, architect, lead and build Proof of Concepts in Azure cloud. Optimize compute, network and storage, network connectivity method. Implement processes and quality improvements through task automation: Implement Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using ARM, Terraform. Ensure Cloud foundation is strong and with needed compliance requirements Assess the needs of handled identities, Service principals, and TLS Security, Oauth 2 Authentications, certificates or forms authentication Design & build Cloud SQL Databases, tiers, replication strategy Key Qualifications: Experience in leading and delivering projects with application modernization and DevOps modernization themes. Should be comfortable working with onshore and offshore team members and delivering the work per project plan. Handle and direct technical teams on various technical aspects of the cloud program (on Cloud Design/Build/Run/Transformation/Transition/Migration) Work with the client to resolve technical issues/discrepancies and tackle problems, be a sounding board for technical solutions in the context of cloud Provide forward thinking thought leadership throughout the life of the program Proactively fix gaps in the overall transformation and run areas Experience on Azure IaaS & PaaS (Design and Implementation). Hands-on experience on leading large scale migration from on-premises environments into Azure using 6R techniques such as Rehosting, Re-platforming, Refactoring, etc. depending on the customer's needs. Work with other Architects on Security, Data protection and loss strategy, Failover Failback strategy. Deliver standard processes around provisioning, operations and management of cloud environment. Ensures that the cloud design is adhering to required standards, high availability & DR requirements and industry based compliance needs. Create architecture diagrams of target public architectures based on best-practices and with customer requirements in mind; walkthrough diagrams with customer and gain agreement Applications will be accepted until 04/15/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $173,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
