Aston Carter Accounts Receivable Specialist in Everett, Washington

Description:

The A/R Specialist is responsible for acting as a liaison between client and its customers. The position will conduct Credit Card Chargeback research, submit Letters of Credit to banks, conduct payment research and perform validity checks on deductions taken by customers. We are looking for a detailed oriented individual who will take full ownership of the claim deductions process.

The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator.

Skills:

accounts receivable, excel pivot tables, vlookup, cash application, chargeback, research and analysis, credit analysis, track orders, payment research, remittance, deduction, claims processing, credits, navision

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years in Account Receivables

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or higher preferred

• Strong customer-focused attitude

• Basic knowledge of Accounting principles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to function successfully in a high volume and fast paced environment

• Proven organizational and time management skills

• Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly

• Knowledge of importing and wholesale distribution, preferably of consumer goods.

• Strong Excel skills
