Description

Our client in the medical field has a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in the Everett area. The chosen individual will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities related to the maintenance, auditing, and processing of medical records. You will be an integral part of the office in this meaningful role!

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle inbound calls from customers, answering their queries and providing necessary assistance

• Utilize software such as Allscripts, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software to manage and process medical records

• Conduct regular audits on medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Carry out various billing functions, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and processed

• Administer claims, ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain and update charts and graphs to accurately represent data and trends

• Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary

  Requirements

• Proficiency in Allscripts

• Familiarity with Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) a plus

• Experience with Cerner Technologies a plus

• Comprehensive knowledge of EHR SYSTEM

• Ability to efficiently use Epic Software

• Strong skills in answering inbound calls

• Proven experience in auditing

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs

• Experience in claim administration
