GE Aerospace Master Scheduling and Rough Cut Capacity Process Leader in Evendale, Ohio

Job Description Summary

As the Master Scheduling and Rough Cut Capacity Process Leader, you will partner with multiple stakeholders to drive consistency in our Master Scheduling, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Rough Cut Capacity processes. With inputs from our product line teams, sources, shops, master engine scheduling, S&OP, and capacity/readiness teams you will own building and implementing a process that connects to our engine production plans with the purpose of building stable and makeable build plans.

You will manage material processes and systems and own the process to update engine production schedules. You will work to ensure operational alignment with the production plan and KPIs, including reporting on and publicizing build plans. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving a process that manages varying data inputs and outputs a standard view of relevant capacity and readiness data for use in decision making. This includes both Rough Cut Capacity Plans and Key Resource Capacity plans for both engines and spares customer divisions.

Participate as a key member of the S&OP core team with a focus on Supply capacity data, master engine scheduling, and standard work management. This includes building and implementing standards, leading improvements, and execution of the monthly S&OP Supply cycle. Work in conjunction with Supply Chain focal points in all part families to support Rough Cut Capacity inputs to S&OP.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Standard Work generation, validation, and maintenance

  • Rough Cut Capacity Process Standardization and constraint management inside S&OP process for decision making.

  • Leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

  • Defining business processes, including continuous improvement opportunities, using lean facilitation skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization to achieve long range project goals.

  • Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view and act.

  • Communicate across Supply Chain, Product Operations, and Digital Technology with ability to clearly and concisely present to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years materials, planning, scheduling, procurement or related supply chain experience) + minimum of 5 years materials, planning, scheduling, procurement or related supply chain experience
