About the role

Reckitt is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate Manager to champion Quality Assurance. With this pivotal role based in the Evansville, IN, you'll be essential in certifying and overseeing the supply of pharmaceutical products around Europe. This opportunity is not just about upholding standards; it's about making a tangible difference to consumer health while managing a talented team keen on innovation and excellence.

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as a role model by proactively engaging on production floor and effectively enforce the food safety and quality systems at site which shall include HACCP and Food Safety Plan review, Prerequisite Programs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP, Pest Control, Sanitation, and other programs as required.

  • Own the Environmental Monitoring Program and lead EMP Team. Perform risk assessments, Support Hygienic Zoning program, develop Corrective Action Procedures, and communicate trend data to leadership.

  • Manage In-Process Lab (NIP) ensuring efficient operations, accurate results, and compliance with established standards. Support NIP supervisor addressing issues that may arise in the lab, from equipment concerns to personnel management.

  • Support food safety and quality including QC & QS. Develop, review and align procedures with FDA standards and external regulatory expectations. Internally audit against global and regional standards and site procedures with a continuous improvement mindset to drive excellence and compliance with all expectations.

  • Track and trend agreed upon KPI’s. Support the plant Quality and Continuous Improvement projects. Partner cross-functionally through communicational and training activities to drive improvements.

  • Continuously improve knowledge of products and technology to investigate variation and resolve technical problems with the team. Apply a scientific approach with statistical analysis to data and problem solving. Act as the primary technical liaison to support engineering and R&D Teams

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (science, engineering, food processing, etc.).

  • 2-3 years of experience in Food Manufacturing, HACCP, FSMA regulations, and other relevant areas.

  • Strong computer technical skills, data analysis, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • PCQI Certification is a plus.

  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes, HACCP/Food Safety principles, Environmental Monitoring Programs, and quality control testing programs.

  • Self-motivated and able to work and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive programs/teams to completion.

  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Salary Range

USD$92,000.00- $138,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
