We are hiring a Product Line Manager to support the structures' product lines, focusing on the system and product architecture requirements, and collaborating with other CommScope business units to fulfill product requirements as well as sales/customer support. You will be required to be in the Euless or Richardson, TX office three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• Responsible for the identification and development of new business opportunities within new customer verticals, engaging and supporting A&E firms to ensure that the products being brought to market meet the market needs

• With direction from the manager, the product life cycle is handled, with emphasis on products for new customer segments. Shared accountability for the product lines' P&L, including revenue attainment, gross margin and operating income. Supports sales and marketing efforts by assisting in research of market opportunities and competitors with existing product lines in assigned markets.

• Work with the PLM team to develop sales and marketing presentations where additional technical expertise is required on specific solutions, applications, architectures, or assigned markets.

• Shared responsibility for maintaining product evaluations on competitive product offers.

• Attends trade shows, reviews market/trade publications and works with the sales workforce. Participates in technology and product roadmap development.

• Develops product definition including price, cost and performance objectives, reliability and functional features, manufacturability, and life cycle forecasts. Identifies and selects sales channels to distribute products to targeted markets/customers. Develops new production introduction plan.

• Participates in the development of all marketing collateral material and supports sales through joint sales calls and in-person meetings.

• Ensures successful transition to manufacturing.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Five or more years of product management experience in Wireless telecommunications, preferably in Network deployments and experience in customer-facing roles with an understanding of basic structural engineering concepts in regard to the structures industry

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present to and interact with a wide variety of audiences, including direct and indirect customers such as A&E firms, Sales, Engineering, and Operations

• Understands the elements of a P&L and how to take action on that information to optimize the business

• Is driven to innovate and build new products to bring to the market to tackle current and projected market challenges
