Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Director of Finance in Eugene, Oregon. As a Director of Finance, you will play an instrumental role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of our client's organization. This position involves a high level of responsibility and requires a thorough understanding of various accounting functions, financial software systems, and the general ledger.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the operations of the finance department, including payroll, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
• Utilize financial software systems, such as Sage Intacct and ADP, to perform various accounting functions efficiently.
• Develop and implement the annual budget and monitor its execution throughout the fiscal year.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of the nonprofit industry's financial requirements and trends.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment within the finance team.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial data and reporting.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
• Implement and adhere to internal financial controls and procedures.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's budget processes.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory for effective financial management and reporting.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required for efficient payroll and benefits administration.
• Mastery of Accounting Functions is crucial for accurate financial recording and reporting.
• Ability to develop and manage the Annual Budget to ensure financial health and sustainability.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential for effective financial planning and control.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct for efficient financial management and accounting.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Knowledge of General Ledger operations for maintaining accurate financial records.
