ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in Eugene, Oregon

Our client, a leader in Biotech Manufacturing, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Operations Project Management department supporting the Finished Goods Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills, proficiency in scientific processes, and advanced Excel abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Eugene, OR

Pay Range: $29

What’s the Job?

  • Write work instructions for technical/scientific manufacturing operations.

  • Review and interpret historical production records to update manufacturing batch records.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing staff to determine document formats and best practices.

  • Manage document creation and revision in electronic document control systems (OCPLM).

  • Utilize internal software systems (ERP, Oracle, PLM) to manage SKU setups and ensure alignment with manufacturing processes.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific field.

  • 2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience in a technical/scientific role.

  • Strong technical writing skills with accuracy in documentation and processes.

  • Knowledge of ERP, PLM, or similar business systems; proficiency in Excel for data analysis.

  • Ability to interpret scientific/technical results and collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
