As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support the Automotive Coatings unit responsible for testing and approval of incoming materials, as well as, finished goods sampling and approval. Both processes involve sample preparation and performing specification testing. SHIFT: This will be a Monday-Thursday position, 9AM to 7:30PM You will be located at PPG's Euclid, OH plant, and report to the Quality Services Manager. Responsibilities Maintain batch logs, data entry and lab notes. Test for wet chemistry properties such as: pH, Viscosity, Density, Acid/Base Titration, etc. Perform troubleshooting activities as it relates to batch issues. Set-up laboratory equipment and calibration of equipment and 5S responsibilities. Qualifications H.S. Diploma 2+ years of lab testing experience Experience with Excel and Microsoft suite products Communication skills (both oral and written) Mathematical skills and basic chemistry preferred PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
