Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supporting all maintenance needs for the facility and equipment as well as the waste water treatment operations supporting the manufacturing process. This position will interface directly with all levels of manufacturing and be accountable for the principle job functions listed below.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for establishing the direction and focus of the maintenance and waste water treatment personnel

• Executes preventative maintenance programs for manufacturing/facility on both existing and new equipment per schedule

• Supports site in achieving EHS and 5S targets & objectives

• Supports MESH champions and objectives

• Supervises outside contractors when necessary

• Manages the spending within the monthly expense budget for maintenance and waste water treatment activities

• Responsible for overtime scheduling of the maintenance & waste water teams

• Manages the work performance of team members and provides powerful feedback

• Assists in troubleshooting and manages prompt response to equipment downtime issues

• Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods, design and performance of equipment and processes

• Drives safe practices on a daily basis

• Takes appropriate disciplinary actions when needed according to procedure

• Manage his team in accordance with the collectively bargained agreement

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of maintenance/facilities supervisory experience OR an Associates Degree from an accredited institution and four (4) years maintenance/facilities supervisory experience

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50-mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working within a unionized facility

• Experience with the concept of preventative maintenance

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems

• Demonstrated experience with safety programs

• Understanding of lean fundamentals

• Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (ex: managing varied interests representing potential conflict)

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and team building acumen
