Experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 3 years of expertise in developing and maintaining web applications using Java, Spring Framework, Angular JS, databases, GIT and cloud infrastructure. Skilled in RESTful web services, automated testing, and deployment scripts using Jenkins.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Proficiency in Java coding and testing of Spring Boot technologies, Angular JS and microservices.

  • Work on developing framework for microservices to be deployed on AWS, update code, create/run CICD pipeline

  • Work with product owners and other development team members to add/modify application functionality based on user stories for a large/complex development project.

  • Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed technical specifications and implementation guide.

  • Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.

  • Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

  • 3 to 5 years of development experience in Java/J2EE technologies

  • 3+ years of development experience with Java, Spring boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JS/Angular and REST Web Services is a must.

  • Experience in unit testing/Mockito as well as coding in Java and Spring Boot technologies

  • Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and test-driven development

  • Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle

  • Knowledge of UNIX (Linux) environment

  • Superior time management and work organization

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Work as a team in a fast-paced agile environment

  • Passion for continuous improvement and learning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Jenkins

  • knowledge of No SQL (Mongo / Document DB)

  • Basic familiarity with Angular / React / or NodeJS would be helpful
