Robert Half Financial Analyst in Essex, Maryland

Description

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland area. This role is crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets using Power BI. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets using Power BI

• Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards that visualize key financial metrics and KPIs

• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support strategic decisions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial reporting

• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner

• Use Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and other relevant skills in performing daily duties

• Employ strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas in analyzing financial data and creating presentations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with CapEx

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge in ERP Solutions

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) and About Time

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Experience in Budget Processes and Expense Reporting

• Strong understanding of Finance

• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI

• Experience in Budgeting - Forecasting, Cash Forecasting, Economic forecasting, and Forecasting & Modeling

• Familiarity with Inventory forecasting

• Experience in Budget monitoring, Expense Budget, Budget allocations

• Knowledge of Allocation models and Cost Allocation

• Ability to Create Presentations and deliver Effective Presentations

• Experience in Financial presentations

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas
