Job Summary:

The Sheet Metal Foreman will be responsible for performing installations, routine maintenance, and inspections associated with HVAC systems. The Sheet Metal Foreman is also responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily activities of field installation and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functions necessary to run the field portion of sheet metal jobs.
• Keep open communication with General Contractor on the job and Project Manager.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Coordinate and order sheet metal materials for project.
• Maintain a crew and assign daily tasks.
• Request and maintain submittals from Project Manager.
• Perform As-builts following completion of the job.
• Create RFIs as needed for the job.
• Maintain daily logs up to date and request signatures for any extra work/change orders.
• Communicate with Project Manager on progress of job.
• Responsible for keeping sheet metal on schedule for the job.
• Communicate when additional manpower is needed.
• Communicate with Project Manager when project is ready for Start-up and Balancing.
• Oversee use of PPE equipment on job as required.
• Maintain Company Vehicle.
