The Solution Delivery Organization is aligned within the enterprise process framework to the Accountable Executive/Global Process Owner (AE/GPO) organization for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. As a member of the Solution Delivery Organization, the Solution Architect will lead the analysis of business processes and working closely with the Solution Leader(s), Process/System analysts, as well as business and/or process experts to develop, document and deliver end-to-end SAP process and systems solutions which enable ADM’s strategy.

Sr. System Analyst R2R - Erlanger, KY

The Solution Delivery Organization is aligned within the enterprise process framework to the Accountable Executive/Global Process Owner (AE/GPO) organization for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. As a member of the Solution Delivery Organization, the Solution Architect will lead the analysis of business processes and working closely with the Solution Leader(s), Process/System analysts, as well as business and/or process experts to develop, document and deliver end-to-end SAP process and systems solutions which enable ADM’s strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Process expertise and solution design in SAP Finance module – General Ledger, Organizational Master data setup, Month end closing, Consolidation experience with Hyperion, Blackline, and Group Reporting.

SAP knowledge on statutory and regulatory reporting using the functionality of SAP Local Ledgers, USGAP / IFRS Ledgers.

Implementation experience on Finance – Profit center design, Functional Area, Document Splitting, and Validation/Substitution rule mappings

Strong Integration Experience with supply chain planning in Sales Distribution, Material Management, GTS Custom Processes, and Transportation modules.

Own design features for interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, IDOC, and/or workflow objects, and the ability to write functional design specification documents.

Hands-on knowledge in API / Interface with third-party systems, e.g., Hyperion and Blackline, for technical consulting during solution design, development, and ongoing support.

Provide input to Solution Leads/Architects on data standards and best practices to ensure end-to-end solutions adhere to the SAP Industry Best Practices and Global Implementation approach.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to participate in the functional Design / technical discussion workshops.

Partner with cross-team process and system analysts to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the business process.

Nice to Have

Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from “out-of-the-box” functionality have sufficient business justification and a positive value proposition.

Provide hands-on guidance of system configuration work conducted by process and systems analysts.

Monitor team members' work products to ensure standard processes are followed when creating and maintaining solutions documentation for projects, enhancements, and support requests.

Provide oversight to role-based security designs and solutions.

Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area.

In collaboration with the Solution Leaders, own the development, maintenance and communication of solutions roadmap for application(s) that service the business process.

Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to the Scrum master and team leads for assigned projects, support, and enhancement work.

Mentor and monitor the progress of junior-level personnel on complex projects.

Support project implementation transition to the support organization through documentation and knowledge transfer.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6-8 Years of experience with progressive responsibility in one or more SAP Finance/ Tax, Controlling modules; Experience with S/4HANA preferred.

Deep knowledge of SAP solutions covering full Finance processes : Cost Center Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Project System, and Financial Close management.

Domain and IT knowledge with cross-functional teams to participate in the Design / development of the Intercompany Sales / Purchase Pricing Procedures, Transportation and IDOC mappings for generate automatic postings

Knowledge of standard SAP localizations in Finance supporting global deployments

Minimum of three full-lifecycle SAP deployments

Exhibits ability to work both in a team environment and independently

Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skills.

Ability to evaluate and negotiate priorities and adapt to new/evolving individual and team assignments as adjustments are needed.

Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization how current trends and technology can address identified business needs and capabilities.

Interact and deal effectively with all levels of employees while maintaining professionalism; be willing and effective in challenging the status quo.

Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution

Expected to work occasional weekends, holidays, overtime, or a variety of shifts, when needed, to meet deadlines.

Ability and willingness to travel by auto and air as needed to achieve business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree related to Information Systems, Business, engineering or technology or Biotechnology or other related discipline or any Bachelor’s degree plus minimum of 8 years job experience in SAP Finance and controlling modules.

Certified SAP FICO Professional is preferred.

Domestic and International travel up to 20% is required

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$92,800.00 - $169,600.00
