Power Platform Governance Lead
ADM is seeking a dynamic Power Platform Governance Lead to oversee and optimize our extensive Microsoft Power Platform environment, which includes Applications, Automations, Analytics, AI Bots, and more. This is a leadership role that requires a proactive approach to represent the platform in governance groups and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
This is platform ownership role is key to ensuring the platform delivers value through innovation and productivity while leading governance efforts, managing financial performance, and enforcing best practices for secure, efficient, and sustainable platform operations.
As part of ADM’s Cloud Center of Excellence and Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll collaborate with Service/Product Owners across the platform (BI, Apps, Automation, etc.) to align on priorities and drive governance imperatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and communication skills with expertise in both business and technical areas. While primarily focused on governance and management, a solid understanding of platform technologies, development processes, and architecture is essential.
Responsibilities
Work with the Cloud CoE to ensure strategy aligns with overall cloud strategy
Act as “Product Owner” and collaborating with Architecture on capability roadmaps
Build and lead Power Platform CoE comprising Architecture, Data Governance, Access Management, Security, Infrastructure, DnA, and Development Services
Liaise with Development Services, RPA, Data and Analytics, Digital, Business Services, and OT organizations
Act as Governance Authority to ensure only appropriate workloads are permitted on the platform
Work with platform technical architectto ensure defined standards and patterns align with platform strategy and to maintain the platform adoption strategy
Work with Security and various data governance stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with defined roadmaps and standards
Review and align relevant learning and certifications with governance members and delivery teams
Oversee GT and non-GT developer/user enablement programs
Evaluate new demand for appropriateness and risk – all platforms
Be able to say no to inappropriate demand from the business, GT, OT and GBS
Periodically review existing applications to ensure compliance with current standards
Establish and perform ROI Analysis on Application and RPA requests
Review platform costs (including hosting and licensing) to find ways to optimize costs (i.e. removal of unused licenses)
Requirements
7+ years of IT experience
2+ years of experience working as a platform owner of any technology
2+ years of direct or indirect experience in executing IT Governance related to technology platforms. This includes Financials Management, Security Management, Compliance Management, and decisions on use.
Experience in IT Financials Management including an understanding of Cloud Financials Management
1+ years of experience working with DevOps technology and methods
1+ years of experience working in Agile development methods
Ability to generate high and low level solution design artifacts involving Cloud Services
Experience conducting design reviews and architecture reviews involving Application, Integration, and Analytics
Solid understanding of modern data and analytics design patterns
Knowledge of Data and Analytics platforms
Knowledge of automation platforms
What will set you apart:
Certifications; Either currently have or will have within 6 months:
Microsoft Power Platform Certified Developer (and/or)
Microsoft Power Platform Certified Solution Architect
2+ years of experience working with at least one of the following platforms:
Microsoft Power Automate
Microsoft Power BI
Microsoft Power Apps
Good understanding of Office365 Technical Architecture
Good understanding of Power Platform Technical Architecture

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$127,100.00 - $195,800.00
