As a GBS Senior Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of our GBS Management Office team and will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to provide actionable insights and drive strategic GBS decisions. A significant percentage of your time will be spent consulting with GBS Teams, Global Technology and Finance Teams, sharing your expertise to connect data across the multiple systems and sources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, develop analytical models, and present findings in a clear and impactful manner. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and a passion for leveraging data to solve business challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex analytical models to support GBS objectives.

  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Serve in a consultative role to bridge the gap during our GBS journey, enabling senior management teams to solve problems and make data driven decisions.

  • Present data-driven insights to GBS senior management and other ADM key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Design and create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to GBS stakeholders.

  • Support the design and iteration of custom dashboards which can be easily understood and used for strategic decision making.

  • Partner closely with the HR, Global Technology, FP&A teams to help the GBS Leaders and business answer key questions.

  • Independently make recommendations on ways to implement and improve new and existing processes.

  • Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions and goals.

  • Bring structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical project approach, and leads projects through completion.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various sources and systems.

  • Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verify its quality, accuracy and reasonableness.

  • Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.

  • Validate/peer review analytical techniques deployed by other analysts.

  • Prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.

  • Develop, own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.

  • Mentor, coach, train, and develop GBS colleagues on data analysis.

  • Proactively expand knowledge of business and analytics and share with team members.

  • Share and document data analytics best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in delivering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations

  • Minimum of 4 years in similar roles, preferably in a Global Business Services environment

  • Understanding of typical GBS processes, including Record-to-Report, Prospect-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Hire-to-Retire, IT, among others

  • Previous Data Analytics experience strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, dashboard development and data visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI)

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning or statistical modeling preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner

  • Experience managing data analytics projects, with strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Understanding of spreadsheet (i.e. Microsoft Excel) formulas and referencing preferred
