What do you contribute?

European rail transport is on the move - and we are equipping our customers' locomotives for current and future requirements.

  • The Vectron is a flexibly configurable locomotive product for European use in passenger and freight transport. Our product is continuously being developed to ensure that it is always state of the art and meets market requirements.

  • In your new role as sub-project manager in the Vectron platform, you will add new functions to the platform product range.

  • You will act at the interface between sales, engineering, purchasing and change management with the aim of identifying new function packages, developing them in line with the platform, implementing them in the fleet and marketing them.

  • You will work closely with the engineering experts in technical conceptualization and plan, coordinate and monitor the individual R&D activities.

  • You will support sales and approval as a technical expert and represent the further developments to customers and authorities.

What do you bring along?

  • You have a Master's degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.

  • You also have several years of professional experience in engineering or as a (partial) project manager.

  • You have a profound technical understanding of rail vehicles, preferably with a view to the overall vehicle architecture and the further development of functions.

  • You are experienced in coordinating with cross-location teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You communicate confidently in German and English. Further language skills are an advantage.
