Reference #: 4512568 THE POSITION Do you have experience working in the exciting world of horse racing? The Presque Isle Downs Race Track is seeking a State Steward to supervise the running of races. Get in on the action and apply today!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will oversee the running of the races along with two other Stewards and make decisions on all inquiries and objections on any occurrence happening during the running of the races and determine if there were any rule violations. The State Steward acts on the validity of claims of horses filed during the racing program and files a report with the Commission on the racing programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

This is a per diem position Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirements: You must possess ROAP (Racing Officials Accreditation Program) Steward Accredited. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
