Who will you be working with?

Our functional excellence & business intelligence team (FE&BI) encompasses a multitude of aspects of the center led sourcing team including cost optimization, global sourcing tools & compliance, along with new product introduction sourcing program management & fulfillment. Our team’s primary internal stakeholders are the global commodity team and externally suppliers as it relates to areas such as compliance.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of our Compliance team, you will be responsible for the execution of all supplier surveys in regard to global compliance regulations. The specialist works closely with the Sourcing Compliance Manager to prioritize survey cycles, supplier responses, and any corrective actions necessary. The specialist will help in coordinating data for customer responses. The specialist will help in developing strategies to continually monitor regulations, monitor supplier responses, and improve throughput and positively impact all key Compliance metrics. You will need to think creatively about how to establish relationships, mitigate risk, and drive response rates from our suppliers.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years' experience in sourcing/sourcing compliance, program management, or supply chain

  • 5 years of cumulative experience in the above disciplines in lieu of the education requirement

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

  • Demonstrated supplier management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to embrace lean manufacturing vision and thrive in a team environment with stringent regulatory requirements and high-performance expectations and subsequent recommendations

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Manage interactions with suppliers and internal cross functional team members to address compliance concerns. Resolve any compliance concerns.

  • Support Sourcing Compliance Leader

  • Troubleshoot supplier response times

  • Work to complete customer requests in a timely manner.

  • Communicate and coordinate with Sourcing Compliance Leader, Sourcing teams, Engineers, Sales, Legal

  • Act as a liaison between business units, suppliers, and other cross functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are being met to the goals of the business while meeting customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with manager in setting realistic and challenging operational goals for the team, and help drive team performance, including goals and metrics set forth by the Sourcing Compliance Leader

  • Provide training on product regulations and other regulations that the business must adhere to, to both suppliers and internal teams. Mentor team members to ensure that standard work is being properly executed

  • Assist Sourcing Compliance Manager with report writing as necessary

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
