DESCRIPTION OF WORK Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them to participate in exciting activities, you will play a huge role in their day. Through this day-to-day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.

This position is a starting step to a Nurse Aide position. Upon completion of an 8-hour training course and successfully passing the competency exam, the 16-hour classroom course, and an 80-hour orientation program, you would promote into a Nurse Aide position.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40-hour work week Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with 30-minute lunch, rotating days and weekends. When class begins, you will work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for approximately one month, then you will return to the 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM shift. This position is located in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. You must be willing to work in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Willing and able to work a full-time for the 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, including rotating days and weekends. This schedule will be implemented after certification is obtained, following an 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift classroom orientation. Willingness to complete an 8-hour online training course prior to hire. Experience in the care of care of geriatric or physically ill individuals. Be 18 years old or older. Earned a high school diploma or equivalent. Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
