Role and Responsibilities

Specific duties of the Representative – Technical Sales include but are not limited to:

  1. Establish, document, and maintain an ongoing maintenance program including specific routine maintenance procedures to be performed at specified intervals.

  2. Monitor and direct the activities of maintenance personnel under his authority.

  3. Repair or supervise the repair of all company equipment.

  4. Authorized, to hire and terminate employees under his authority, and to evaluate personnel under his authority for ongoing training and advancement.

  5. Contract outside repair service when repair is beyond Benoit’s capabilities, or when it would simply be more costeffective to do so. Supervise and assist in the work of outside repair services as necessary.

  6. Maintain an inventory of routine maintenance or repair items as necessary.

  7. Installation of new equipment.

  8. Alert department manager of any repair delays which may affect production scheduling.

  9. Assist department managers in the training of employees on the importance and techniques of routine equipment maintenance.

  10. Enforce Benoit Safety, Environmental. And Company policies in their department.

  11. Investigate and complete accident reports on all accidents in their department.

    Requirements

Qualifications/Skill/Experience

• Proven experience in and understanding of the manufacture of products related to today’s Oil and Gas Industry.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technologies and environments related to the manufacture of Tubulars for todays Oil and Gas Industry.

• Ability to identify problems and apply creative solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance programs and procedures.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Knowledge of equipment installation and repair processes.

• Associates degree preferred.

• Driver’s license, clean driving history and access to reliable vehicle
