Job Description

A leader in the telecommunicatoins industry is looking for a Wireless Engineer III to join their team. This person will be joining a team of 6 other engineers, doing lab testing for 5G and Wireless Equipment. The main responsibilities of this team member will be on testing procedures in the lab, equipment management, managing routing and networking duties, and keeping software updated. Experience with physical testing of RF equipment for 5G initiatives is a must. Previous experience within the telecommunications industry, whether it be a service provider or equipment vendor, is highly preferred. Overall, this person's main responsibility will be supporting the development and evaluation of Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN), 5G architecture, infrastructure and products.

Skills and Requirements

Experience in a 5G testing role, specifically doing both equipment and software testing

3+ years of RAN experience

General knowledge of networking principles, including routing and switching DOCSIS experience

Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generator, power meter, or other RF measurement equipment

A positive, team oriented attitude null
