Job Duties
Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems. Design and maintain test data, test cases, and test scripts for projects. Perform testing in development and QA environments to ensure quality of project deliverables. Test applications for reliability, consistency, and use. Test business enhancements for quality control. Understand business needs and requirements, and test products to ensure enhancements operate as designed. Document and prioritize test conditions and test scenarios. Identify, log, and track defects discovered during testing. Test multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as needed. Work as part of self-directed team, in which tasks are determined on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers, rather than being assigned.
Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company HQ in Englewood, CO.
Job Requirements
The position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, and three years of experience in a related occupation.
Must include some experience in each of the following:
Creating, executing, and maintaining queries for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Using Stored Procedures, Triggers, User-defined Functions and Views, Cursors in SQL Server, and creating SQL Scripts for data loads, upgrades for data migrations, and data validation testing.
Working with test automation and developing automation scripts in cypress, Selenium, Protractor, and JavaScript.
API Testing with Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, and Soap UI.
NodeJS, AngularJS, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Linux, and HTML.
CI/CD using Jenkins, AWS, and Azure.
Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Zephyr).
Source Version Control (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, and AWS Commit).
